- Item:- Flow Blue & Polychrome Dessert Service – Double handled serving dish, 3 shaped serving dishes and 6 plates
- Maker:- Unknown, English and probably one of the main Staffordshire Potteries
- Pattern:- Unknown name – Floral Pattern – Pattern Number 240
- Date:- c1870 +
- Size:- Plates are 8 ¾ inches
- Weight:- 5.025kg
- Condition:- Mainly in very nice condition – there are a few minor issues. On the double-handled serving dish there is a very fine short hairline to one side of one of the handles – marked with a black dot in the photos, and there is some loss of enamel on the flowers again check out the photos as I have taken a close up of the area. On one shaped serving piece there is a glaze chip to the underside rim again marked with a black dot in the photos, and finally, one plate has a fine hairline which is again marked with a black dot and close-ups have been taken of both sides – considering the age of this set I feel the damage is minor and will not detract from using and displaying the set.
- Comments:- Beautiful set with lovely shaped serving pieces – will grace any table – the colours are bright a vibrant.
